We are looking for a skilled Dental Nurse to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. Affinity Dental is based on the north side of Gloucester with excellent road access to Cheltenham, Ross-on-Wye, and destinations off the M5. Established for over 18 years, the practice has built a strong local reputation and enjoys a loyal patient following.
The Role
We are looking for a full-time Dental Nurse (38.5 hours per week) to support our clinicians and assist patients throughout their treatment journey.
Working hours:
Monday: 08:00 – 17:00
Tuesday: 10:00 – 19:00
Wednesday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
Providing chairside support across a range of treatments
Preparing and maintaining surgeries to the highest clinical standards
Assisting patients through their treatment journey and ensuring a positive experience
Supporting clinicians with procedures and treatment planning
Following infection control, health, and safety protocols
Decontamination and instrument processing as required
Helping the practice run efficiently and smoothly
A qualified Dental Nurse
Implant experience is desirable but not essential
Sedation qualification is ideal, with full training available for the right candidate
A friendly, professional, and organised individual
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive and dynamic team
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
