Envisage Dental Drayton is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Decontamination Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

Based within a modern five-surgery practice, this is an exciting growth role within a supportive environment with a loyal and welcoming team culture.

This role will primarily support our hygienists with back-to-back EMS appointments, ensuring efficient instrument turnaround and maintaining exceptional infection control standards throughout the day.

Working Hours

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
• 8:00am – 5:15pm
• 1 hour unpaid lunch break (1:00pm – 2:00pm)

The Role

As a Decontamination Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patient safety and ensuring the practice maintains excellent infection control standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing decontamination support for hygienists 
• Cleaning, sterilising, and preparing dental instruments
• Following strict cross-infection protocols
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised decontamination area
• Supporting efficient instrument flow throughout the practice
• Assisting the clinical team with instrument turnaround and tray preparation
• Reporting any issues with instruments or sterilisation equipment

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
• Able to follow processes and protocols carefully
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
• Calm and professional in a busy environment
• Committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient safety

Previous dental or decontamination experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate. Hepatitis B vaccination required (can be arranged if needed).
