Dental Receptionist - Tenbury Dental Centre, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, WR15 8AA

Part-Time | 3 Days per Week
Monday to Wednesday | 8:30am – 5:30pm

Tenbury Dental Centre is a well-established, community-focused dental practice in the beautiful market town of Tenbury Wells. Over the past six years, we have grown from two to four surgeries, reflecting our commitment to exceptional patient care and continued investment in our practice.

Following a complete refurbishment, our modern practice is equipped with the latest technology, including CBCT scanning, intraoral scanners, and fully digital workflows. We are proud of the welcoming, friendly atmosphere we have created for both patients and colleagues, and we're now looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our team.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience from the moment they contact or visit the practice. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
• Managing incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries
• Booking, confirming, and rearranging appointments
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
• Managing patient recalls and follow-up appointments
• Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative tasks
• Maintaining confidentiality and complying with practice policies
• Ensuring the reception area remains professional and welcoming at all times

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced receptionist with excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will have:

• Experience within a dental, healthcare, or medical setting would be advantageous but is not essential
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience is essential  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong administrative and computer skills
• A professional and friendly approach
• The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
• A proactive and positive attitude
