We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our professional and supportive team at Isca Dental, a long-established private practice in the heart of Caerleon.
About Isca Dental
Isca Dental is a modern, well-established private practice with three busy surgeries, providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
Located in the historic village of Caerleon, just outside Newport, the practice benefits from excellent transport links and is situated on a main bus route from Newport City Centre. With local amenities nearby and easy access to the M4 corridor, the practice is conveniently located for both local and commuting team members.
Our practice is equipped with modern dental technology and provides a wide range of private treatments. We are proud of our reputation for clinical excellence and our commitment to creating a positive experience for both patients and staff.
Hours
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 4:45pm.
We would be happy to consider applicants seeking a four-day working week for the right individual.
The Role
As a Dental Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring patients receive an exceptional experience throughout their treatment journey.
Key responsibilities include:
Chairside support across a range of dental procedures
Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
Supporting infection prevention and control procedures
Assisting with decontamination processes
Supporting digital workflows, including iTero scanning where required
Maintaining accurate patient records
Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians providing a range of treatments including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants.
What We're Looking For
GDC-registered Dental Nurse
Strong communication and organisational skills
A professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
Knowledge of infection control and decontamination procedures
Experience with digital dentistry or iTero scanning would be advantageous
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
