The Role

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll work closely with our experienced clinicians and nursing team, gaining hands-on experience while completing your qualification.

You'll be supported throughout your training as you develop the skills and confidence needed to become a qualified Dental Nurse.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clinicians with chairside support across a range of dental treatments.
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms.
  • Learning and following infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Assisting with decontamination and instrument processing.
  • Supporting patients throughout their appointments with professionalism and empathy.
  • Learning to maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position working 43.5 hours per week:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 5:45pm
  • Friday: 7:45am – 3:45pm

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Already enrolled on an accredited Dental Nursing qualification (essential).
  • Ideally has some previous experience working within a dental practice.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn.
  • Friendly, caring and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work well within a team.
  • A confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Committed to completing their qualification and developing a long-term career in dental nursing.
